Skippy's Projects

I came across Skippy's site from some one who's name I can't quite recall but will probably mention later. I had to mention this on the Brood Blog probably because he's just a regular old gamer just like you and me except that he has bigger and probably wetter dreams than we. He spent some time in the Army and has recently graduated from the SMU's Guildhall program.

There's a rediculously long list of things he can't do while in the Army. It's actually pretty funny and I'm sure my husband would enjoy it, but I coudln't read more than a few lines.

210. Must not make T-shirts up depicting a pig with the writing "Eat Pork or
Die" in Arabic to bring as civilian attire when preparing to deploy to a primarily Muslim country.
211. Don't ask LTC Steele to sign my copy of Blackhawk Down.
212. Must not go on nine deployments in six years that require a security clearance that I don't have, even if the Army tells me repeatedly that I have one and I have no reason to question them.
213. Do not convince NCO's that their razorbumps are the result of microscopic parasites.

See... Funny stuff! That's just the tip of the iceberg though because this guy actually does his very own video games. Now I know you're probably thinking what's the big deal here, but I think it's pretty cool to find a regular old person just trying to make his way in a world he absolutely loves. You have to be a gamer to be able to create the wonderful games out there and I love the idea of following the life of a man who's just trying to break into the gaming industry all on his own. That said click the title above to check out his work in progress. Maybe one day we may be seeing a game called Eat the Living or Prom Queen Zombies and you'll have previewed it here first! Yeah the game sounds corny and quite possibly retarded, but how often do you get to play a game with a bunch of college girls in plaid mini skirts huh? Yum I say!

I'm really hoping he puts out a playable demo of some sort. Maybe some screen shots or something.

Enjoy!
